We conducted our annual Science Fair with the theme ‘Creativity in Science’. Over the two days, we were impressed with the group projects that our students produced, such as a lava lamp, a volcano, a water dispenser, a solar house and even a mini rocket.

We will be celebrating the graduation of our K2, P6 and S4 students and our 10-Year Anniversary at the Melia Yangon Grand Ballroom on 30 June 2018 (Saturday), from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
As part of SIS’s aim to provide our students with opportunities for experiential learning, our Primary 1 to Primary 5 students went on an educational trip to the Yangon Zoo.
After their trip, the students had to write or draw about what they saw during the trip, thus developing their 21st Century Skills in communication, collaboration and curiosity.
As a follow-up to the Emergency Evacuation briefing conducted on Monday (14 May), we conducted an Emergency Evacuation Drill today so that our students would be well-prepared for any emergencies.
We are pleased that the whole campus (comprising of students and staff from SIS and RVi Institute) took only 3 minutes to gather at the designated gathering area. Well done, everyone!
Our Pre-School students visited the Myaynigone Fire Station today to learn more about fire safety and how firefighters put out fires. This trip helped to develop the students’ 21st Century Skills, especially in Curiosity and Cultural & Civic Literacy, as they learnt to appreciate the efforts of our unsung heroes.
We will like to thank the staff for their hospitality and hope to have more such collaborations in the future.
We conducted our annual SIS Open House & Student Showcase today at the RVi Global Education Campus.
To promote their entrepreneurial spirit and build up their 21st Century Skills, the students set up their own booth with the aid of their class advisor and helped to manage their respective booths, all for a charitable cause. The proceeds from this event will be donated to an orphanage and our Secondary to A Level students will be representing SIS to present the funds raised to them.
At the end of the event, students participated in the Thingyan Celebration by engaging in water play.
We will like to thank all students, parents and RVi Yangon staff for their active participation to make today’s event a rounding success.
We will also like to thank 100PLUS for their kind sponsorship of beverages on this hot day.
